The Ashford Cup

Yesterday at the final Ashford Cup league match, our team, Group 1, won 10-2. We will now contest the Ashford Cup Final on the 27th July at Braintree Bowling Club.

Congratulations to the bowlers from West Mersea Bowls Club who helped this happen: Steve Bell, Malcolm Cameron and Gavin Miklaucich. Our friends Paul Hills and Steve Ellis from Mersea Island Bowls Club were part of the team and so ensured a really good joint representation from the island.

A great result for the Group 1 team and an amazing performance from The Mersea Boys.
