Holt Annual Match 16 August 2023
This year it is our turn to travel to Holt for our annual match on Wednesday 16 August.
It has been suggested that we have a mini tour and the options are:
- To play at Holt and travel home the same day
- To stay one night and play a Norfolk or Suffolk club before travelling home on Thursday 17 August
- To stay two nights and play a local club on Thursday, travelling hime on Friday 18 August.
Accommodation would probably be at Wensum Valley Hotel Golf & Country Club though we are also considering Sprowston Manor Hotel Golf & Country Club which is slightly more expensive.
The costs for Wensum Valley Hotel would be approximately:
- Double or Twin Room: £90 per person per night (2 sharing)
- Single Room: £110 per person per night (limited number available)
This includes bed, breakfast, evening meal and use of the Club's facilities. Golf, however, is extra although at a reduced rate.
Travel would be down to individuals to find their own way but we hope that those able to drive will offer any space to those who cannot.
Please note: the tour is very much a maybe but we will definitely be playing against Holt on 16 August.
